High Voltage Technician - Leading Hand

The Position

You’ll lead the delivery of HV and LV works, supervise field teams, and ensure exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervising HV and LV installations, upgrades, maintenance repairs and commissioning
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring QA compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality procedures
- Liaise directly with clients to coordinate works, manage expectations, and resolve issues
- Undertake HV Equipment Assembly
- Performing HV cabling installation and terminations
- Support HV Equipment testing and commissioning
- Leading small teams on-site and coordinating project delivery
- Planning labour, materials, and schedule to meet project timeframes
- Perform technical HV/LV works based on client specifications and drawings
- Lead and supervise in office teams to ensure safe and timely project delivery
- Plan and schedule labour and materials to meet project timeframes
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture on-site
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of team capabilities

The Candidate

- Electrical Trade Qualifications
- Current CPR and LV Rescue certificate
- Proven experience in HV installations and team supervision
- Experience in HV installations
- Police and DCSI clearances
- The ability to work well within a team-based environment
- Current & Full SA Driver's Licence
- Advanced computer skills, predominantly in Excel and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards and drawings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

The successful applicant will preferably have:

- Commitment to safe work practices
- Good attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Have MIG welding experience




- Welder who has experience in fabrication and welding of steel

Schedule

- Full time positions available: Monday – Friday & with overtime.
- Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).
