THE POSITION:
With Accounts Payable at the core of your position, you will take responsibility for ensuring supplier accounts, reconciliations and payments are accurate, timely and well managed.
You will also support the broader day-to-day finance operations across the organisation's Australian, Indonesian and Singaporean offices.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function
- Processing and reconciling supplier invoices and payments
- Credit card processing and reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations and processing bank transactions
- Setting up and maintaining suppliers within SAP
- Managing creditor ageing and supplier queries
- Following up missing invoices and payment allocations
- Maintaining prepayment schedules, journals and reconciliations
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Assisting with sales analysis and rental credit calculations
- Maintaining accurate financial and accounting records
- Providing broader support to the Finance Manager, Accountant and wider business
ABOUT YOU...
You will be an experienced and reliable Accounts Officer who enjoys taking ownership of your work and being part of a close-knit team. Ideally, you will bring:
- Approximately 3–5 years experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Payable or similar finance role
- Strong Accounts Payable experience, ideally managing the function end-to-end
- Solid bank and credit card reconciliation experience
- Good understanding of accounting principles and processes
- Experience using accounting systems and Excel
- SAP / SAP Business One experience highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team environment
