Although, the bulk of the patients we treat are neurological and complex disability, we also treat other chronic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries.

Accredited Exercise Physiologist – Contractor

AHPRA Registered Physiotherapist - Contractor

- Start date: Immediately
- Contractor (Ranging from 5 - 38 hours per week)
- Monday to Friday (Saturday's Optional)
- $ 75 - $ 148 per hour
- Located in Kogarah, the heart of the St-George Medical Precinct

Chronic Care Allied Health is looking for an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist and Physiotherapist to take on an existing and growing caseload of clients. As a contractor, you will have referrals coming through to you and you have the flexibility to choose if you can take the client on or not and you can set your schedule that suits both you and the client best. You have access to our clinic, equipment and resources, as well as friendly and cooperative team of therapists who are always willing to bump ideas off each other.



Patients we deal with are predominantly neurological or complex disability. We see patients in our KOGARAH clinic as well as in the COMMUNITY at their home or local gym, we see clients all over Sydney.

Care is determined to be a LEADER in the rehabilitation sector and use exercise to treat the actual disease state instead of ONLY focusing on improving symptoms of the disease.

We believe knowledge is power and pride ourselves on keeping our clients educated on their condition and why we choose certain exercises. We are looking for someone who will be able to build a genuine connection with patients and truly care about their health outcomes. You will be in contact with the lead Therapist and will be responsible for:

- Creating and supervising evidence-based exercise programs. Sessions conducted in both our clinic and driving to clients home in the community.
- Supervise clients in 1-1 sessions either face to face or online
- Running group sessions
- Comprehensive assessments and goal setting
- Report writing (e.g., NDIS reports, GP letters, AHRRs)
- Administrative duties such as taking calls, onboarding new referrals, managing your client bookings, scanning, printing, generating invoices etc.

Qualifications Required

Successful applicant must have

- Minimum 1 year experience required. Highly Preferable to have experience with neurological and disability type clients. Will consider otherwise for candidates that love to learn and would like to explore the neurological world of clients.
- ESSA Accreditation and/or AHPRA Registration
- Medicare Provider Number and SIRA number
- Own Public Liability and Indemnity Insurances
- First Aid and CPR
- Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Clearance
- Driver’s license and car
