What You'll Be Doing The Heart Centre for Children, SCHN is one of the largest and busiest sub-specialty teams within the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN) and provides cardiac care to children of Current South Wales and the surrounding regions at the; Children's Hospital Westmead, Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick and within our outreach centres.

The Cardiac Services Administrator Officer seeks to provide administrative and customer service support for; patients, families, staff, and visitors to the Heart Centre for Children, SCHN which can include being the first point of contact.

This role is responsible for the delivery of administration support for all aspects of the Heart Centre for Children, SCHN whilst maintaining a passion in the delivery of patient centred care.

This role will ensure that outpatient billing is processed in an accurate and timely manner to optimise revenue for the department and within financial deadlines, and will be responsible for the auditing and correction of any billing errors.



This position ensures optimal billing within the department and works closely alongside the Finance department and Business Manager.

This role will provide support to the administration and reception team within the Heart Centre for Children.

From time to time, the Cardiac Administration Officer may also be required to perform other job-related ad hoc tasks other than those specifically stated in this position description.
