‎ Support Farmers to Turn Knowledge into Action Pinion Advisory is seeking an Agricultural Extension Project Coordinator to help deliver extension and adoption programs that turn research, innovation and technical expertise into practical on-farm outcomes. Working within our Farm Business Services team, you'll connect researchers, industry experts and producers, translating complex information into practical actions that support better decision-making and drive practice change across Australian agriculture. You'll coordinate events, develop extension resources and support the adoption of new ideas and technologies on farm.

Organise and support workshops, field days, webinars, training programs, and stakeholder events. Develop extension resources including fact sheets, case studies, reports, presentations, videos, and digital content. Build relationships with producers, industry groups, government agencies, researchers, and project partners. Translate technical information into practical, producer-focused communications and learning materials. Manage multiple project deliverables, stakeholder groups, timelines, and events simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.



Contribute to funding proposals, tenders, and opportunities to grow Pinion's extension and adoption services. ‎ Qualifications &

Experience What You'll Need for This Position Degree in Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, Rural Science, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Agricultural Communications, or a related discipline.

Experience in stakeholder engagement, project delivery, communications, agricultural extension, adoption, or agricultural consulting.

Current Australian

Driver's Licence and willingness to travel regionally as required.

Skills & Competencies Strong project management, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex information into practical, engaging content. Digital proficiency across Microsoft 365, CRM systems, webinar platforms and project management tools. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver practical outcomes.

Highly

Regarded 2+ years' experience in agricultural extension, adoption, industry development or agricultural consulting.

Experience facilitating workshops, field days or producer engagement activities. Graphic design, multimedia or content creation experience. What's In It For You Attractive salary depending on experience and capability.

Hybrid working arrangements in Hobart or Launceston. Flexible employment arrangement from 0.6 FTE to full-time.
