Air-Conditioning Apprenticeship

What you’ll do -

Whilst studying a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration working with Clements Air Conditioning and Refrigeration over 48 months, as part of this role, you'll gain hands-on experience while supporting the day-to-day coordination of training, safety and compliance activities. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting qualified tradespeople with the installation, servicing and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Learning to install and maintain split-system and ducted air conditioning systems
- Assisting with refrigeration equipment, including cool rooms and commercial refrigeration systems
- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Preparing tools, equipment and materials for daily jobs
- Following instructions and communicating effectively with tradespeople and supervisors
- Always following safe work practices and workplace procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite
- Working across a variety of commercial and residential sites
- Assisting with fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Carry out duties that are within the limits of apprentice skills, competence, and ability as required

- A strong willingness to learn and develop your trade skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to work as part of a team
- The ability to listen to and follow instructions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- A practical, hands-on approach to work
- The ability to work across different environments and job sites
- Motivation to develop into a skilled and qualified tradesperson

Must-haves -

- Current drivers licence (provisional or above),



or close to obtaining.
- Working with Children Checks or willingness to obtain one.
- NSW National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and functional, including audiometry, spirometry and drug and alcohol screening.
- Covid Vaccination or willingness to have one.
- WHS construction industry induction (White Card) or willingness to obtain.
