Position Description
You will serve as a TEST MECHANIC, AIRCRAFT LAUNCHING AND ARRESTING DEVICES in the FLEET READINESS CENTER MID-ATLANTIC FRMCA VRT DEPT MYPT PROD BR of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will perform hydrostatic and operational cycle tests of experimental, new or modified components for ALRE systems.
- You will prepare sketches and serve on engineering integrated product teams engaged in the design, prototyping and manufacture of recent or replacement parts.
- You will provide labor hours and material requirement estimates for ALRE manufacture, repair, maintenance, overhaul and installation.
