Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced AML Analysts to join our Sydney team, with a strong focus on complex entity onboarding, customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence.
This role is particularly suited to someone with hands-on experience reviewing companies, trusts, SMSFs, partnerships, beneficial ownership structures and higher-risk customer profiles.
Position Purpose:
The AML Analyst is responsible for delivering end-to-end AML operational support across individual and complex entity onboarding, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence and remediation activities.

The role requires strong technical CDD capability, sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to identify, document and escalate AML/CTF risks appropriately.
You will work closely with Compliance Officers, Senior AML Specialists and client stakeholders to ensure customer onboarding and due diligence activities are completed to a high standard and in line with AML/CTF obligations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Support AML remediation and customer uplift projects across existing customer populations
- Manage ongoing due diligence and periodic review activities

- Higher-risk customers requiring Enhanced Due Diligence
- Source of funds and source of wealth review
- Beneficial ownership identification and verification
- PEP, sanctions and adverse media screening outcomes
- The successful candidate will be comfortable reading and interpreting legal and corporate documents, understanding ownership/control pathways and making clear, risk-based recommendations.
Skills & Experience:
- 2–5+ years’ experience in AML, KYC, KYB, Financial Crime, Compliance or CDD operations
- Strong hands-on experience reviewing entity customers, not just individuals
