Role DescriptionThe Architect is responsible for developing creative, functional, and sustainable architectural concepts and translating project requirements into practical design solutions. The role involves preparing architectural plans, drawings, specifications, and presentations while ensuring that designs meet functional, aesthetic, technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, coordinating design elements with structural, engineering, and other technical requirements, and evaluating materials, finishes, and construction methods. The Architect will collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to understand project objectives, resolve design issues, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

The role also involves supporting design development, reviewing technical documentation, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that architectural work complies with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations. The Architect is expected to balance creativity with practicality, cost considerations, sustainability, and constructability while maintaining high standards of design quality.





Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture or a related discipline.
- Professional architectural registration or relevant certification is preferred, where applicable.
- Robust knowledge of architectural design principles, building systems, construction methods, materials, and applicable building regulations.
- Proficiency in architectural design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Archicad, or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows, 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization is an advantage.
- Strong creative, conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into accurate technical documentation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design ideas clearly to clients and project stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate multiple design requirements and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of sustainability, functionality, aesthetics, safety, and constructability in architectural design.
