We currently have an excellent chance for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team based in Sydney on a fulltime permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional who is motivated to learn, grow and build a long-term career in finance. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller within a supportive and collaborative environment, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Financial Accounting:

Processing accounts payable and receivable

Assisting with bank reconciliations

Processing of corporate credit card claims and ensuring expenditure aligns with internal policies

Assist with commissions code setup and maintenance

Tracking significant vendor expenses to identify trends and upcoming contract renewals

Assist with month-end accounting duties Miscellaneous:

Continuous review and development of department processes to improve efficiencies, enhance value of outputs, and reduce operational risk





Liaise with and manage expectations of internal stakeholders including Advisers, support staff, senior management and external parties as required

Assist the Financial Controller in ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives About You:

1 to 2 years of experience with accounts payable

Working knowledge of Fringe Benefit Tax

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Completed Bachelor of Accounting or other related degree

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
