About Us:

Are you ready to gain real-world HR experience and make a genuine impact in a dynamic, people-first organisation?

At EJ Kids’ Care, we do more than provide Before and After School Care and Vacation Care for primary school-aged children - we’re a large, vibrant service that puts just as much care into supporting our incredible team of educators and staff as we do into enriching the lives of the children we care for.

Proudly managed by the Eagle Junction State School Parents and Citizens Association and supporting up to 270 children daily, our service is powered by a committed team of over 50 staff. Behind the scenes, our Operations Team works tirelessly to ensure the service runs smoothly - and now, we’re looking for an Assistant Human Resources Coordinator to step into a temporary but pivotal role, supporting the HR function while our Human Resources Coordinator is on maternity leave.

This is an unmissable opportunity to join a tight-knit team and gain hands-on, high-impact experience across all aspects of employee management. You’ll work closely with our Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager to provide support and guidance across our full staff team - and your contributions will matter. You will be provided two months of handover to engage in this role!

What Our Team Says:

“I have worked in the early childhood industry for over 20 years and have found this Service to be the best I have been employed at. The Service is run efficiently with staff knowing the roles/areas they will be in every day. Inclusion is quite evident at the Service and all families are warmly welcomed.” – Fran, Educator.

“EJ Kid's Care is the best workplace I have ever worked in.

The workplace is the most healthy, positive, supportive and collaborative workplace I have ever been a part of. The team are all incredibly welcoming and have the kid's and other staff members best interests at heart. I love coming to work every day and everyday I know my team has my back.” – Beth, Educator.

“I have loved working at EJ Kids’ Care as the team have been nothing but welcoming and inclusive. There is always somebody willing to answer my questions and point me in the right direction!" – Katie, Educator.

“I’ve been here for nine years. Working with the kids and staff, I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather work. My favourite part is getting to know the kids through all the different activities I get to do. We have a good group of staff!” – Rachel, Educator.
