About the Role As a Student Nurse with YNA, you’ll have the chance to work in a variety of healthcare settings across Cairns.
Depending on your qualifications, experience and scope of practice, you may work as an AIN (Assistant in Nursing) in hospital settings or a PCW (Personal Care Worker) in the community.
We’ll work with you to find shifts and settings that suit your skills, experience, availability and preferences, giving you the flexibility to balance work with your studies.
What you will bring to the role
- Currently enrolled in second year or above of a Bachelor of Nursing, or hold a relevant Cert III or Cert IV with paid experience
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Paid NDIS and Working with Children cards (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
- A professional, reliable and caring approach to your work
