About the role:

Due to an internal movement, we're looking for an Assistant Orchard Manager to join our Bembaala Orchard team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role within an established and productive orchard operation. Working alongside the Orchard Manager, you'll help deliver safe, efficient and high-performing orchard operations while supporting the ongoing growth and success of the business. We're seeking a proactive, hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems and driving continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

- Support the planning and execution of orchard operations, including land preparation, irrigation, nutrition, pest and weed management.
- Coordinate and supervise daily activities of orchard employees and contractors.
- Monitor and maintain orchard infrastructure, machinery, irrigation systems, and equipment.
- Assist with budget management, reporting, and operational planning.
- Promote a safe, productive, and positive team culture.
- Work closely with the Orchard Manager to achieve production, quality, and financial targets.




- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
- Represent GO.FARM professionally with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Other duties as required

About you: You enjoy working with people, take pride in doing things well, and want to be part of something with real purpose.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

- Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or orchard operations.
- Previous experience leading or supervising people.
- A current driver's licence.
- Chemical accreditation (or willingness to obtain it).
- Robust organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and high standards.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a small, dynamic team environment.

- Base salary between $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
- Short Term Incentive (STI) of up to 10% of your salary
