About the Roles Working as part of a dedicated team, you will play an important role in maintaining and presenting the course to the highest standard. These positions offer the opportunity to work in a professional environment focused on course excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
Assistant Superintendent
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, maintenance and presentation of the course and its facilities
- Understanding of turf management and agronomy practices
· Support turf health programs, including pest, disease and weed management.
- Provide leadership, supervision and mentoring to members of the course maintenance team
- Carry out turf maintenance activities including mowing, fertilising, chemical application, irrigation and course set-up.
- Operate and maintain a range of specialised turf equipment and machinery.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to course development projects
- Ensure a safe, clean and professional work environment.
About You The successful applicants will ideally possess:
- As a minimum Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent)
- Experience in golf course or turf maintenance operations.
- Robust knowledge of turf management practices and equipment operation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Chemical Users Certification.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance knowledge.
- Experience with irrigation systems, scheduling and troubleshooting
- Ability to work flexible hours and rostered weekends
Apprentice Greenkeeper
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with the maintenance and presentation of the course and its facilities
· Work in a team environment
· Operate and maintain equipment
· Perform mowing, turf surface renovations, bunker maintenance and other agronomic tasks as directed
· Attend TAFE as part of the training and development

· A passion for turf management and the golf industry
· Strong work ethic
· A strong attention to detail
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Work flexible hours and rostered weekends
