Alati dining, a new brand created by Dedes Group, is seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to join our dedicated senior team.

Location at the Wenty Leagues Club , Wentworthville. Set to open early September 2026.

To be a successful in this exciting position we require the following:

- 2-3 years experience in a floor-based, hands-on guest experience role across cafe & casual dining service
- Good communication skills – both verbal and written

- Excellent eye for detail
- Ability to work both autonomously and as a team. including venue manager
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills

- Conflict management
- Hold a current RSA and clear understanding of related obligations
- A passion for food and beverage

- Time management skills
- Experience with staff allocation and rostering

- Excellent personal presentation
- Be a mature, reliable and passionate motivator
- Ability to develop relationships with a wide range of clients and suppliers
- Be highly organised with the ability to think on your feet
- Organising stocktake and ordering weekly provisions from suppliers

- Demonstrate versatility

What You’ll Do





- Lead from the front with a hands-on approach, setting the standard in execution and consistency
- Execute a modern Greek taverna that honours tradition while showcasing innovation
- Oversee FOH operations including rostering, ordering, labour cost control, and compliance
- Mentor, train and develop your team to maintain a high-performance culture
- Collaborate with executive leadership and back-of-house to ensure seamless service delivery

- Proven experience in a premium dining environment
- Understanding of Mediterranean or Greek cuisine
- A natural leader who thrives in fast-paced service and fosters team excellence

- A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable dining experiences
