Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Core Banking Practice In this role, you will be responsible for creating and strengthening Genpact's presence in our prioritized Asia Pacific market. You will be a domain SME for Core banking - across the end-to-end lifecycle for all banking products including mortgages, cards, personal loans, business lending, deposits, including originations and servicing. You will provide domain expertise as local sales teams create business opportunities for the Core Banking proposition with existing and new clients.

Your role will support the identification and qualification of opportunities, demonstrate the Core Banking proposition and enable the building of a predictable pipeline of business to generate repeatable and profitable revenues.

The mandate for this role will be to predominately cover APAC, more specifically Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. The role requires strong organisational, technical and communication skills. Requires robust stakeholder management and ability to influence across multiple levels of leadership, while leveraging the different capabilities at Genpact to deliver maximum value for Clients. Must work well in a dynamic, complex environment and under deadline pressures.

Responsibilities





- Own the solution development for Banking Capital Markets deals (RFP, RFI, proactive and Contract renewals) throughout the deal cycle
- Combine technology, partner solutions, digital and analytics to provide a best in class solutions
- You will be a key point of contact in the service line for Core Banking opportunities and you will support the development of sales strategies, collateral and solutions to meet the Core Banking needs of clients - working closely with Sales, Data, Tech & AI
- You will support the delivery go-to market plans through managing the relationship with tech partners, salesforce enablement and the execution of targeted campaigns.
- You will work with Lead Solutions Architects and the Sales team to respond to RFIs and RFPs - completing sections on Core Banking. You will work with cross functional teams to develop a winning strategy, along with Ops/LDT, Digital and DTAI, then present for internal approval and customer acceptance.
- Your role will require close alignment with Operational teams, to identify innovations which can be productised, needs which can be met with new technology and benchmark performance.
- Work with internal teams to build the client facing proposal
- Front end along with BD/Sales and contribute to deal conversion
- Have a sharp point of view on market trends/changes/competitive landscape based on experience and industry knowledge
- Able to work independently in a cross-cultural environment, panning different time zones
- Thought leadership through whitepapers, content creation
- Excel and partner internally in a highly matrixed structure including collaborating with adjacent service lines, digital, data, technology, partner alliances, transformation team and practice, analytics sales and practice.
- Drive innovation through deep customer involvement
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes impacting client businesses

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

- Masters Degree, MBA or equivalent desired




- 10-12 years of experience in the banking industry with hands on experience across products, operations, technology
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise, thought leadership and industry point of views
- Strong Data, Tech & AI knowledge specific to Core Banking

*Specific experience working in/with Australian Financial Services Firm/Banks
- Experience in handling CXO conversations, develop Trusted Advisor relationship
- Should be a self-starter and work well in matrixed team
- Experience in working in a fast paced & tight timeline type of environment
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and execution skills
- Collaborative management and working style
- Should possess high degree of versatility, good interpersonal skills, and excellent time management skills
- Very 'hands-on' person that is a highly productive individual contributor
