- Full-time ongoing, Clerk Grade 7/8 ($116,981 - $129,492 per annum) opportunity, based at Martin Place, Sydney CBD.

Support Ministers and senior leaders with finance, reporting and policy advice that shapes emergency services priorities and reforms across NSW.

About the Role

Join the Policy and Coordination team within the Emergency Management Branch and help shape decision-making across the emergency services portfolio.

As the Associate, Reporting and Finance, you'll provide financial, performance and policy advice to Ministers and senior leaders, supporting government priorities, strategic reforms and service delivery outcomes. You'll coordinate portfolio reporting, contribute to budget and policy processes, analyse complex issues and work closely with agencies and stakeholders to deliver better outcomes for the people of NSW.

The Emergency Management Branch sits within the Delivery & Engagement Group and leads coordination across the emergency services portfolio, partnering with agencies to drive policy development, performance monitoring and strategic delivery.

We're Looking For

- Experience in financial reporting, budget processes, outcomes budgeting or performance reporting.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and provide clear, evidence-based advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial or policy matters to diverse audiences.




- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience working collaboratively across teams, agencies or complex environments.
- Knowledge of government processes, public policy, emergency management or cross-agency coordination is highly regarded
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, accounting or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Package includes base salary ($116,981 - $129,492) plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
