Australia Wide | Remote | Federal Government Automation Program
PALAS Consulting is seeking a Blue Prism Architect and Developer to support a Federal Government agency's enterprise automation platform. This is a 12-month engagement commencing September 2026. The role suits a practitioner comfortable moving between architectural oversight and hands on build, from keeping the platform consistent and secure through to developing and troubleshooting automations in production and non-production environments. Key Responsibilities
Maintain architectural control of the Blue Prism platform, ensuring it remains consistent, scalable and secure across all licensed environments.
Support Blue
Prism configuration and installation and advise the on maintenance and upgrade activity.
Assess and define automation processes, and develop, test and remediate Blue Prism automations.
Accept and manage escalated incidents through an agreed support channel, within defined severity and response timeframes.
Facilitate Blue Prism product support coverage and contribute to training activities for departmental staff.
Provide support remotely via remote viewing platforms, telephone and email, maintaining email, web and emergency phone contact pathways.
Required
Experience
Demonstrated experience architecting and developing on the Blue Prism platform, including upgrade paths such as 6.2.1 to 7.x. Hands on experience with process definition, automation build,
and troubleshooting and remediation of existing automations.
Experience providing second or third level support within a formal escalation and incident management structure.
Confident working directly with client stakeholders on platform maintenance, configuration and support advice. Australian citizenship is mandatory.
Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a current AGSVA security clearance. Desirable
Experience supporting Blue Prism across separate production and non-production environments.
Background delivering platform support within structured service review and governance frameworks.
Experience facilitating training or capability uplift for client teams on Blue Prism. Location and Working Arrangements
