Position Overview
We are in search of an accomplished and proficient Store Manager to lead our bustling Highpoint store. You will demonstrate success in team management, deliver proven sales outcomes in the tyre and automotive sector, and exhibit adept inventory control skills.
Your day to day will see you responsible for building sales and profitability, and managing the daily operations of the store. Together with your team, you will build long-term relationships with our valued customers, provide sound advice, and deliver high-quality work to ensure your store performance remains consistent and customer satisfaction is achieved.
Success Profile
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Automotive Technology is required
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Strong commercial mindset with a focus on driving sales, profitability and customer outcomes
- Ability to achieve and exceed KPIs, store targets and key business objectives
- Strong people management skills, with the confidence to coach, mentor and upskill a diverse team
- Experience with inventory management, stock control and stocktake processes
- Sound understanding of budgets, expenses and cost management, or a willingness to develop these skills
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Comfortable using technology, including POS, Microsoft Office and retail/workshop invoicing systems
- Driven and ambitious, with the desire to grow the store, develop the team and achieve strong results
