This is not a salaried role. If Indeed displays an annual pay estimate, that estimate is generated by Indeed and is not provided, promised or guaranteed by BLIGHT. Compensation is commission-only under the per-sale structure below.

BLIGHT Sydney provides custom LED signage to businesses across Greater Sydney. We are looking for self-directed B2B sales contractors who can identify suitable businesses, start conversations and build their own pipeline.

This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity.

There is

- no base salary or hourly rate
- no supplied or guaranteed lead flow
- no guaranteed sales volume or income
- no guaranteed payment date

Current commission structure
- AUD 500 for an eligible, fully paid sale valued from AUD 2,900 to AUD 3,999
- For an eligible, fully paid sale valued at AUD 4,000 or more: AUD 500 plus 10% of the amount above AUD 2,900
- Commission is paid within 14 days after BLIGHT receives the customer’s full cleared payment and all conditions in the written agreement are met
- Commission amounts are exclusive of GST where applicable and supported by a valid tax invoice

Customer decision and payment timing varies. It may take several weeks before a commission becomes payable, and no commission is earned if no eligible sale is completed.

What you would do

- Research and select suitable business prospects across Greater Sydney
- Build and manage your own B2B pipeline
- Approach prospects using the methods you consider appropriate, including in-person visits, phone, email and professional online channels
- Understand the prospect’s needs and introduce the relevant BLIGHT product
- Keep accurate opportunity and follow-up information in the agreed CRM




- Coordinate with BLIGHT on approved pricing, quotes and production information
- Follow applicable law and BLIGHT’s agreed brand and pricing requirements

What BLIGHT provides
- Current product, pricing and sales materials
- An agreed CRM and quotation process
- Support with approved quotes and product questions
- A channel for asynchronous questions
- Optional group product and sales support, normally offered on Mondays and Fridays

The Monday and Friday sessions are optional. Attendance is not required. This opportunity may suit you if
- You can meet business prospects in Greater Sydney when an in-person approach is appropriate
- You are comfortable generating your own prospects rather than receiving supplied leads
- You can work independently without requiring immediate or guaranteed income
- You can communicate clearly with business owners and follow up consistently
- You have current legal rights to work and provide services in Australia
- You have an active ABN, have an application pending, or are willing to check your eligibility and obtain one before entering a contractor agreement

Previous B2B, field sales, hospitality, retail, signage, design or business-development experience is useful but not mandatory. Applicants without formal sales experience may still be considered if they provide specific evidence of initiative, communication and a credible prospecting plan.

- leads supplied by BLIGHT
- guaranteed income or a guaranteed payment date
- a fully remote role with no ability to meet Sydney businesses

ABN and work rights An ABN is required by BLIGHT before entering a contractor agreement. Having an ABN does not by itself determine contractor status. Applicants must already have the legal right to work and provide services in Australia. BLIGHT is not offering visa sponsorship through this opportunity.

BLIGHT may separately advertise salaried employee vacancies in the future. Contractors may apply through a separate selection process.

Selection process

4. Any assessment is a recruitment exercise only. It will not require you to contact a real business, and BLIGHT will not use your answers commercially.
5. Selected applicants may then be offered a separate written independent contractor agreement.
