We have a full-time position for a Baker or Pastry Cook with great oven skills and a passion for baking bread with outstanding results.

The full-time role is with theafternoon shift Bakers Team, 3pm to 11pm (or until finish). A regular week for the afternoon shift will include 4 weekdays plus one weekend day.

The Bakery is located in Dandenong South.

You will have the skills to organise proofing and baking timelines, sole baking sour dough bread & sweet doughs in a up-to-date gas fired deck oven.



Additionally you will be pretty handy using 30 tray rack ovens, again gas fired. A 2-man team operates 4 x 30 tray rack ovens and 1 x 6 deck stone slab, gas fired oven.

You will part of a solid baking team and your input and ideas on how to improve processes and quality will be valued.

The role is to control ovens and bake off sough dough breads, pastry lines, croissant, and sweet loaves such as heavily fruited breads, banana bread & muffins.

The oven function requires a team of 2 to operate and they are backed up by a further team of bakers and pastry cooks producing products that are delivered daily each evening.
