Join the Vili’s Bakery Family! For over 55years, Vili’s has been proudly baking Australia’s favourite pies and cakes. We’re a family-owned business with a big heart and our team is at the centre of everything we do. We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic Production Workers for ongoing casual roles. With over 200 workers structured into 22 specialised teams, and an operational roster over 24 hours, there is a role to suit anyone.

The Opportunities Requirements Depending on the team you’re working in, you’ll develop a niche set of skills and be asked to work hours that suit the production requirements. Here’s a brief overview of the roles and duties we’re seeking:

Pastry Team | Yeast Team Weigh/scale ingredients; mix doughs; laminate/sheet pastry; prepare pasties; monitor yeast/fermentation and dough temps; set up and change over lines.

Wrapping Team Load and pack wrapped baked goods for distribution.

Meat Processing Team Dice & mince meats; complete production records.

Afternoon Packing Team Carefully packing and handling baked goods while maintaining accuracy, efficiency,



and product presentation for our customers.

Hours of Work Based on the role type and given we’re a 24/7 production environment, start and finish times will vary. As a general guide, our shifts typically fall into the following groupings and are usually for 7.6hrs per shift.

- Mornings – starts between 2am - 9:30am
- Afternoons – starts between 1pm – 5pm
- Nights – starts between 7:30pm – 1am

What We’re Looking For

- Reliable and available for full time hours
- Physically fit for manual handling and working on your feet
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment
- Strong attention to detail, especially with food quality and safety
- Positive team spirit and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in bakery, food manufacturing, meat processing, or commercial kitchens is highly regarded, but not essential (we’ll provide training)
