About the role

We’re building the opening team at Virtual Greens and looking for friendly, energetic Bar Staff and Hospitality All-Rounders who know how to make customers feel welcome.

This isn’t just about pouring drinks. You’ll be part of the whole Virtual Greens experience to serving customers, keeping the venue running smoothly and helping create the relaxed, social atmosphere we want to be known for.

Whether our customers are here for a serious round of golf, a few drinks with mates or have absolutely no idea how to swing a club, we want them to have a great time.

What you’ll be doing

Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

Providing friendly and professional customer service

Taking orders and processing payments

Keeping the bar and customer areas clean, stocked and organised

Assisting with opening and closing duties

Supporting food and beverage service

Helping customers throughout the venue

Working closely with the wider Virtual Greens team

Most importantly to helping create a fun, welcoming atmosphere

About you

We’re looking for people who are:

Friendly, confident and excellent with customers

Reliable and punctual

Comfortable working in a busy environment

Happy to work as part of a team and jump in where needed

Well presented with good communication skills





Available for a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends

Ready to learn and bring a positive attitude to work

Previous bar or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential to we're just as interested in finding the right people with the right attitude.

A current RSA is preferred; however, applicants willing to obtain their RSA will also be considered.

And don't worry to you don't need to know anything about golf!

Hours to be confirmed based on availability and discussed at interview

Rotating roster across our 7-day operation

Day, evening and weekend shifts available

Opportunity for ongoing employment and progression as Virtual Greens grows

Pay rates in accordance with the applicable Award, including applicable penalties and casual loading

Virtual Greens is a brand-new golf simulator, bar and hospitality venue featuring six state-of-the-art golf simulator bays, great pub-style food, cold drinks and plenty of entertainment.

We’re creating a venue that’s relaxed, social and welcoming to whether our customers are serious golfers, complete beginners or simply coming in for a feed and a drink.

Because we're building our team from the beginning, you won't just be starting a new job to you'll be helping us create the Virtual Greens experience.
