Hi Aera - After-School Care Nanny Wanted – Beecroft

We're a busy family running our own business, looking for a reliable, warm and organised after-school nanny to support our three children (ages 14, 13 and 8 – Years 8, 7 and 3).

Days/Hours: Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm – 6:30pm

Responsibilities

Pick up our two daughters from the Pennant Hills bus stop at 3:45pm (our son walks home independently after school)

Run a structured after-school routine that helps the kids build independence and good habits, rather than doing everything for them

Assist and guide with homework — encouraging the kids to work through it themselves, checking in and helping where needed

Involve the kids in packing their own school bags each evening, guiding them to ensure the correct books and equipment are ready for the next day

Involve the kids in preparing their own lunches, assisting and overseeing rather than doing it all

Prepare light afternoon meals/snacks

Transport to and assist with after-school activities, mainly sport and tuition (own reliable car required)





Encourage age-appropriate responsibility and routine — our kids are fairly independent, and we want someone who reinforces that rather than taking over

Requirements

Current driver's licence and reliable car

Working with Children Check

Experience with school-aged children, ideally including pre-teens/teens

Punctual, trustworthy and able to manage multiple kids' schedules

Comfortable helping with homework across primary and early high school levels

Someone who naturally coaches and involves kids rather than doing tasks for them

About the family

We're a professional family who run our own business, so we need someone dependable who can take ownership of a structured after-school routine and communicate well with us. Our kids are outstanding — mostly independent — and we're looking for someone who supports that independence rather than replacing it.
