PRODUCTS
LAAMP, ENTRII and the wider Cortex Interactive product portfolio
Background
LAAMP is an award-winning SaaS training and assessment platform, powered by immersive technology and proprietary digital evidence capture. LAAMP challenges the traditional approach to inductions, training and assessment and brings them into the now, catering for the modern day workforce.
We are an Australian based business that delivers LAAMP across the globe to organisations who are looking to protect and empower their people whilst improving skills and knowledge transfer. We're also growing our product portfolio beyond LAAMP, including ENTRII, our workforce access and compliance platform, with more products on the roadmap as part of the wider Cortex Interactive family.
We're after a Business Analyst who can turn ambiguity into clarity — sitting with stakeholders, understanding the problem, and translating it into requirements the team can actually build against. You'll work across multiple products, so you'll need to be comfortable moving between different problem spaces without losing the thread. This isn't a documentation-only role — we need someone who's genuinely hands-on and gets things moving, not just someone who writes it all down.
What You'll Be Doing
- Sit down with stakeholders across the business and work out what they actually need — not just what they say they want.
- Translate product requirements into executable requirements, acceptance criteria and supporting documentation the development team can build against.
- Work alongside the Product Owner to keep the backlog well-defined — requirements specific enough to build, not just a wish list.
- Work as part of a multi-skilled product and delivery team, pitching in on additional product analysis and requirements work wherever it's needed across our products.
- Team up with our Scrum Master and product team to uplift how we run our SDLC and Agile ways of working — sharpening ceremonies, backlog discipline and delivery practices as we scale.
- Dig into data — usage, support tickets, customer feedback — to back up recommendations with evidence, not just opinions.
- Support discovery, scoping and requirements gathering for new features and releases across the product suite.
- Write and maintain functional documentation that people actually use.
- Help run workshops and showcases so stakeholders understand what's being built and why.
- Flag risks, dependencies and conflicting priorities early, especially where work across products overlaps or competes for the same resources.
- Be the go-between when Product, Delivery, Sales and Customer Success need someone to translate between technical and non-technical language.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in SaaS, software delivery or a similarly quick-moving environment.
- Genuinely good at asking questions and listening — you get to the real problem, not just the first answer someone gives you.
- Skilled at turning ambiguous requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria and documentation.
- Solid grounding in Agile/Scrum ways of working — enough to actively help lift how the team runs sprints, backlogs and ceremonies, not just follow them.
- A genuine doer — someone who picks things up and drives them forward rather than waiting to be told exactly what to do.
- Comfortable working across multiple concurrent products and workstreams without dropping the ball on any of them.
- Can work with data — pulling it together, making sense of it, and using it to support a recommendation.
- Solid communicator — you can hold your own in a room with execs and also sit with a support agent and map out their workflow.
- A qualification in business, IT or a related field is a plus, but we care more about how you think and work.
Why Join Us
- Work across a growing suite of products — more variety, more exposure, faster growth.
- Genuine influence: your analysis directly shapes what gets built and how, and you'll help mature how the whole team delivers.
- A growing, Adelaide-based business with global reach and an ambitious roadmap.
- A practical, no-nonsense team that values getting things right — and getting them done — over ticking boxes.
