The Opportunity

As a Business Analyst – Website Transformation at the City of Perth, you will play a key role in our website transformation program, helping shift the way we design and deliver digital experiences towards more customer-focused, experience-led outcomes.

With a robust user-centred design (UCD) approach, you will gather and define business and user needs, map end-to-end customer experiences and translate insights into clear, actionable requirements. You will contribute to the transformation of the City of Perth and Visit Perth websites, supporting improved customer experiences, operational efficiency and future digital innovation.

Reporting to the Lead within our Website Transformation program, your responsibilities would primarily include:

- Champion user-centred design, evidence-based decision making and accessibility throughout the program;
- Map current and future-state services, processes and end-to-end customer journeys to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement;
- Facilitate co-design workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to understand business objectives, challenges and user needs; and




- Translate business and user needs into clear functional requirements and work with stakeholders to support adoption and continuous improvement.

About You To succeed in this role, you will possess:

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Service Designer or Experience Designer within complex digital or transformational environments;
- Strong service blueprinting, process mapping and end-to-end customer journey mapping capability;
- Experience applying user-centred design and/or design thinking approaches and translating evidence-based user needs into actionable requirements; and
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, challenge existing ways of working and support change.

Experience working on digital transformation initiatives, applying UX principles, working alongside design teams or within agile delivery environments will also be highly regarded. If your experience and capabilities match these criteria, we welcome your application.
