About Catch-e

Catch-e is the software platform behind some of Australia's leading novated leasing, salary packaging, and fleet management businesses. Our customers run on our backend engine, processing thousands of active vehicle leases through our APIs and integrations into their own branded front-end environments.

We have been quietly powering this industry for over two decades. Around 50 customer accounts run their operations on Catch-e today. We are now in a serious growth phase: modernising the platform, deepening customer partnerships, and going after the next wave of customers in a market that is rapidly evolving.

We are a small, focused team based in Cremorne, Victoria. Decisions get made fast. The work matters. There is nowhere to hide and nowhere to coast.

The Role

This role owns the commercial side of Catch-e. Two things sit with you: growing the revenue we already have across our existing customer base, and bringing new customers onto the platform. You will work directly with the CEO and you will own the number.

Around two thirds of your time goes into our existing customers. You will build genuine relationships with the people running these businesses, understand how they make money, and find the ways Catch-e can be worth more to them. That covers re-contracting and price reviews, upsell and cross-sell across our product set, and identifying custom development work that solves a real problem for a customer and adds revenue for us.

The other third is proactive outbound into a target list of around 100 companies across novated leasing, salary packaging and fleet management in Australia and New Zealand. Email, LinkedIn and phone, warming them up over time and bringing them into a real conversation.

The Australian leasing and packaging market is small, technical and deeply relationship driven. That cuts both ways. There are not thousands of prospects to spray at, so every relationship counts, and your reputation will travel ahead of you.

Where this role sits

You own the commercial relationship with our customers. Our Customer Success Manager owns the day to day: onboarding, adoption, support and making sure the platform is doing what the customer needs it to do. You two work closely together, because what the Customer Success Manager sees inside an account is often where the next commercial conversation comes from, but the revenue and the commercial relationship sit with you.

Deeper technical questions go to our Chief Product and Technology Officer and product team. You are not expected to answer everything yourself, you are expected to know when to bring somebody in rather than guess at an answer.

What makes this role different

You are not joining a sales floor with thirty other reps and a quota wall. You are the commercial function at Catch-e. You set the cadence, you build the playbook, you sit across pricing and contract structure with the CEO, and you will be able to point at the revenue line and see your own fingerprints on it. There is no legacy process to fight against and no layer of management between you and the decisions that matter.

What You’ll Do

- Own the commercial relationship – manage and grow revenue across Catch-e’s existing customer base including recontracting, price reviews, and cross-sell/upsell across our product suite.
- Drive new business – build and run a proactive outbound engine (calls, LinkedIn, email) into a curated target list across Australia and New Zealand’s novated leasing, salary packaging and fleet management sectors.
- Lead commercial negotiations – take ownership of contract renewals, pricing conversations and non-standard deal terms, structuring outcomes that work for Catch-e and our customers.
- Identify expansion opportunities – scope custom development and professional services work that solves a real customer problem and adds revenue.

- Run full-cycle deals – manage everything from discovery and demos with senior buyers (CEOs, COOs, CFOs) through proposal, negotiation and close.
- Build account plans – develop plans for the accounts with the greatest growth potential, so you know where revenue is coming from before the quarter starts.
- Partner across the business – work directly with the CEO on pricing and deal structure, and with our Product and Customer Success teams to keep the roadmap aligned with what customers need.
- Keep a clean pipeline – maintain accurate, current reporting in HubSpot.

What You’ll Bring

- Proven full-cycle B2B SaaS or technology sales experience in a mid-market or enterprise environment.
- A genuine track record on both sides of the role: winning new business and growing revenue within an existing customer base.
- Real commercial negotiation experience – price increases, contract renewals, multi-year terms, or non-standard deals you’ve structured and closed yourself.
- Solid outbound skills: building a target list, running a sequence that gets opened, and picking up the phone.
- Confidence running discovery and demos for senior, C-level buyers.
- Sharp commercial instincts and the ability to read a deal and structure something that works for both sides.
- Self-directed, comfortable operating without a sales floor or heavy oversight.

Bonus Points

- Direct industry experience in novated leasing, salary packaging, fleet management, or adjacent automotive fintech.
- Experience selling backend platforms, API products, or infrastructure software.
- An existing network of relationships within the leasing, packaging or fleet management sectors.
- Experience selling into the New Zealand market alongside Australia.
- A background in finance, accounting, payroll or fleet operations

How to Apply

Apply with your CV and a short note (a paragraph is fine) explaining why this role caught your attention and what you would bring to it. Every application is read personally. No formal cover letter required.

We are hiring for fit, not just resume polish. If you have sold into this industry before, even briefly, please mention it. If you have not but think you can win in it anyway, tell us why.
