The opportunity A leading Sydney property styling business is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive recent client acquisition and revenue growth across NSW.
This is a genuine hunter role for someone who can open doors, build influential relationships and convert opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships. You will work with real estate agents, property developers, architects and other key decision-makers who influence how properties are prepared and presented for sale.
What you’ll do
- Develop new business across Sydney and broader NSW
- Build strong relationships with real estate agencies, developers, architects and project marketers
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial approach through to signed agreement
- Identify opportunities to position property styling as a valuable part of the sales process
- Attend client meetings, industry events, property launches and site visits
- Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide reliable sales forecasts
- Work closely with the styling, operations and marketing teams to deliver an exceptional client experience
What you’ll bring
- A proven track record in business development and new client acquisition
- Experience in furniture sales, property styling, interiors, architecture, real estate, building products or another relevant industry
- An established network within Sydney’s property, design or development market would be highly regarded
- Strong commercial instincts and confidence dealing with senior decision-makers
- A polished, consultative approach with the drive to win new business
- The ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver against revenue targets
