Business Development Manager - Automotive SAAS

We're searching for a driven and energetic Business Development Manager to join our growing team, helping automotive dealerships thrive with next-gen software solutions. If you're a natural relationship builder who enjoys closing deals and working with smart digital tools - this role could be your perfect next move.

You'll be the face of a leading portfolio of automotive software products - including CRM systems, customer comms, digital documents, online marketplaces, and rego solutions - helping dealerships across VIC streamline their operations and boost profitability.

Responsibilities

- Win new business and hit sales targets (capital, recurring & unit-based)
- Build long-term relationships with dealership stakeholders
- Identify growth opportunities across existing accounts




- Present tailored solutions with clear ROI benefits
- Stay updated on automotive trends and industry changes
- Work closely with internal teams (Ops, Marketing, Delivery) to ensure client success
- Keep CRM and reporting accurate and up-to-date

Experience

- Previous experience in B2B sales or account management (ideally in software or automotive)
- A solid track record of hitting targets and driving growth
- Great communicator with strong relationship management skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM tools
- A current driver's licence and your own vehicle

Ideal but not essential:

- A background working with Automotive / Car Dealerships, OEMs, Truck, Ag, Marine, Motorcycle
- Familiarity with dealer management systems, CRM platforms, or digital marketing tools
