Based in Rosebery, Sydney, we work closely with interior designers, architects, specifiers, contractors and other industry professionals to provide wallcovering solutions that elevate their projects. Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager based in Brisbane to grow The Wallcovering Collective’s presence across the Queensland market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, interior designers, specifiers and other key decision-makers, and driving specification and revenue growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include meeting with existing and prospective clients, presenting our collections and product solutions, developing project opportunities, managing the sales and specification pipeline, and collaborating with the wider team to convert specifications into successful projects.

The Business Development Manager will also represent The Wallcovering Collective at industry events, presentations and networking opportunities,



helping to build brand awareness and establish strong relationships within Brisbane’s architecture and design community.

This role would suit a proactive, commercially minded individual who is passionate about interiors, enjoys developing relationships and is motivated by identifying and converting new opportunities.

About

You

Strong experience in architectural specification, sales, business development and generating recent client opportunities.

Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, specifiers and key decision-makers.

A strong existing network within Brisbane’s architecture and design community would be highly regarded.

Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Good understanding of the interior design industry and the requirements of residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

Ability to work independently, proactively manage a sales pipeline and contribute as part of a broader team.

Commercially minded, self-motivated and confident in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

A genuine passion for interior design, materials and specification.

Previous experience with interior textiles, wallcoverings, furniture, finishes or other specification-led interior products will be highly regarded.
