Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a part-time, remote role focused on identifying and cultivating recent business opportunities for XMATE Sketch Lab: Xactimate Sketch Services and Roof Reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching target markets, generating and qualifying leads, and reaching out to prospective clients such as insurance adjusters, contractors, and restoration professionals.

The specialist will conduct discovery calls, present XMATE Sketch Lab’s services, and follow up on inquiries to move opportunities through the sales pipeline. This role involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, tracking outreach activities, and preparing brief reports on market trends and customer feedback. The specialist will collaborate with internal team members to refine messaging, support client onboarding, and ensure a smooth handoff from prospecting to ongoing customer relationships.

- Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools and basic proficiency with productivity software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, online meeting platforms).
- Strong ethical standards, professionalism, and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory communication in all client interactions.
- Relevant education or training in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage but not strictly required with demonstrated experience.
