About the Role The Business Operations Consultant will work across CSMSEC's operations to identify opportunities to improve business processes, operational efficiency, customer service.

Working closely with the Senior Support Engineer and internal teams to understand existing workflows and identify recurring operational challenges and recommend practical improvements that support the growth of the business A key part of the role will also involve developing a strong understanding of CSMSEC's products and technical operations through direct customer engagement, troubleshooting and involvement in configuration and commissioning activities. These insights will help improve business processes, documentation, support practices and overall service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Process Improvement

· Review existing operational workflows, business processes and service delivery methods.

· Analyse operational issues, business processes and recurring challenges and recommend practical improvements.

· Work with management and internal teams to implement agreed business and operational improvements.

· Review work methods, procedures and internal documentation and identify opportunities for greater consistency, efficiency and business performance.

· Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, implementation guides and internal operating resources.

· Help standardise recurring customer support and operational processes.





· Review the effectiveness of implemented changes and recommend further improvements where required.

Customer & Business Operations

· Engage directly with customers, installers and internal teams to understand technical and operational requirements.

· Provide customer and technical support across CSMSEC's security product portfolio to identify recurring operational issues and opportunities for process improvement.

· Investigate and troubleshoot issues involving access control, CCTV, smart locking and related security technologies using findings to improve operational processes, documentation and service delivery.

· Assist with product configuration and commissioning where required to develop an understanding of customer operations and support continuous business improvement.

· Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams to resolve complex or recurring operational issues.

· Use insights gained from customer and technical operations to recommend improvements to business processes and service delivery.

Continuous Improvement

· Review operational information, customer feedback and business processes to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

· Contribute to internal knowledge resources, process documentation and technical documentation.

· Support improvements to customer support workflows, operational processes and service standards.

· Assist with broader operational improvement initiatives as the business continues to grow.

· Research relevant technologies, business practices and industry developments that may improve CSMSEC's operations and customer experience.

About You

You will be someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates,



solving problems and finding practical ways to improve how work gets done, while being comfortable working in a customer-facing technical setting.

Ideally, you will have:

· Experience in business operations, process improvement, consulting, program management or a related environment.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Experience improving processes, workflows or operating procedures.

· Strong customer and stakeholder management capability.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience developing process documentation, SOPs or operational resources.

· Ability to learn technical products and systems quickly.

· A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Management, Engineering or a related discipline.

· Experience within electronic security, access control, CCTV or a related technology environment is advantageous but not essential.
