About the business and the role:
Established in 1997, Country Care Group (CCG) is an Australian family owned and operated business with over 700 staff throughout a wide variety of operations across Australia. With 50 company network stores and over 130 CCG member stores, we are a leading national supplier of a vast range of assistive technology products and in-home aids to assist people living with disability, mobility impairments and the aged. CCG manages national contracts for the supply to state and federal government health services schemes, hospitals, aged and residential care facilities.
K Care Healthcare Solutions is the product and wholesale division of the group. It owns the 50-year-old K Care brand which is a market leader in AT products in Australia. The K Care business is also a major distributor of brand like Karma, Merits and Afikim.
The business has a local engineering / product development team and both imports and manufactures product. The company has a large distribution capability with major facilities across the country, but major distribution centres in Epping (VIC), Willawong (Qld).

We are currently seeking a Business Systems Developer to join our team at our Melbourne, CBD office.
The Business Systems Developer is a hands-on technical role responsible for the configuration, development, and ongoing optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across CCG. Reporting to the Delivery Solution Architect, this role will work closely with the implementation partner and internal stakeholders across finance, operations, supply chain, and retail to ensure BC is well-built, well-maintained, and delivering value across the business.
A National Police Check is required for this role.
Skills & Experience
- 5 years of hands-on experience developing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
- Proficient in AL development using Visual Studio Code; able to build, extend, and maintain BC extensions from scratch
- Solid understanding of core BC modules across operations and finance: Inventory, Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Sales, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and document management
- Experience building and maintaining RDLC and Word-based document layouts within BC
- Familiarity with BC integration patterns including APIs, web services, and OData feeds
- Comfortable working in an agile delivery environment with sprint cycles, backlogs, and iterative releases
- Strong communication skills; able to work directly with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, retail,
and finance to gather requirements and explain technical options clearly
- Self-directed and organised; able to manage your own workload across support, development, and project delivery without close supervision.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience with Power Automate, including flows that connect Business Central with Microsoft 365 applications
- Exposure to Power BI reporting on top of BC or Dynamics data
- Experience working on a BC consolidation or multi-instance migration project
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for work item tracking and source control (Git)
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure fundamentals, particularly as they relate to BC hosting and integration
- Exposure to Power Apps development or other Power Platform components
- Experience in retail, healthcare, aged care, or similarly complex operational environments
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification (any level).
