Fantasy Caravan is looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our Heatherbrae workshop.
Our caravans now arrive from the factory largely completed, so this role is mainly focused on final assembly, QA / PDI checks and minor rectification work before delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with unloading caravans from shipping containers using the correct equipment
- Completing basic bolt-on assembly and fitting work
- Carrying out QA / Pre-Delivery Inspection checks
- Identifying anything that needs adjustment or attention
- Completing minor repairs and rectification where required
- Using hand and power tools
- Making sure caravans are ready for customer delivery
Most assembly work is straightforward bolts, nuts, fittings and adjustments. This is not heavy manual labour, and you do not need to be a qualified mechanic.
What We're Looking For
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Basic mechanical or practical knowledge
- Good attention to detail
- Able to spot and fix basic problems
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a small team
- Willing to learn
- Australian work rights
Experience in caravans, trailers, automotive, mechanical, assembly or trade work is highly regarded, but not essential. If you find something you don't know how to repair, that's fine — our experienced team can train you.
What You Get
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Reliable Monday–Friday hours
- Clean and organised workshop
- Training provided
- Variety of assembly, QA and minor repair work
- Opportunity to grow with the business
Fantasy Caravan is a growing Australian caravan business with an increasing focus on quality, efficient preparation and reliable customer delivery. If you're practical, reliable and take pride in doing a job properly, we'd like to hear from you.
