Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter & Handyman to join our team based in Concord, New South Wales. Working mainly throughout the Inner West area of Sydney. This permanent, full-time position is essential build our busy property maintenance & renovations business.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and general maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. We are looking for someone who can communicate well with clients and with the ability to solve problems.

Responsibilities:

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures mainly in residential premises.

- Installing new kitchens and other joinery jobs

- Perform a wide variety of general maintenance & repairs. For example Gyprocking and painting, repairs to or installing new doors & locks & windows, tiling, fencing, gutters, downpipes, landscaping and more.




- Carry out a wide variety of small jobs for example hanging pictures & mirrors, flat pack assembly, installing bathroom fittings, shelving and more
- Carry out prep for sale repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and our team

- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a carpenter and general handyman experience is required.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in carpentry or a related field.
- Robust knowledge of carpentry techniques and building codes.
- Ability to use job management phone ap and communicate job details to our office for invoicing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
