Case Worker 7-week contract | Western Sydney | Specialist homelessness service

Be Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sustaining Tenancies Case Worker for a short-term contract with a specialist homelessness service in Western Sydney.

Working within an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness to maintain safe and stable housing. This role requires a confident caseworker who can engage effectively with clients presenting with complex needs and coordinate practical, person-centred support.

You will

- Provide case management and tenancy-sustainment support to clients with complex needs.
- Complete assessments and develop practical, client-led support plans.
- Assist clients to address barriers that may place their tenancy at risk.
- Coordinate referrals and work collaboratively with housing providers, government agencies and community services.
- Advocate for clients and support access to appropriate housing, health, financial and social supports.
- Maintain accurate case notes, records and reporting.
- Participate in team meetings,



case reviews and service coordination.

You will have:
- Previous case management experience within homelessness, housing, mental health, disability, alcohol and other drugs, or another complex community-services setting.
- Demonstrated experience supporting clients with multiple and complex needs.
- Robust engagement, assessment, advocacy and crisis-management skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a specialist team.
- Relevant qualifications in community services, social work, welfare or a related discipline.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
- Current relevant worker-screening checks, or the ability to obtain them quickly.
