About the role

We are seeking a Casual Mobile Playgroup Educator to join Young Mobile Play Activities at our Young NSW location (2594). This is a casual position offering flexibility to work on an as-needed basis. In this role, you will help deliver engaging, nurturing early childhood education and care experiences to young children in our mobile playgroup setting. You will help support children's learning, development and wellbeing whilst building positive relationships with families and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

- Help plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning through play

- Provide supervision and support to children in a safe, inclusive mobile playgroup environment

- Develop positive relationships with children and their families, communicating progress and observations

- Maintain a clean, protected and well-organised playgroup space that meets health and safety standards

- Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through guided play and interaction

- Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to ensure quality care delivery

- Make children's welfare Paramount. Children first always.

What we're looking for

- Driver's License
- A Certificate 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred but not essential. if you are enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn, we would love to hear from you.

- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Current Working with Children Check clearance for New South Wales





- Strong communication skills and ability to engage positively with children and families

- Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, safe and stimulating learning environments

- Knowledge of child development and play-based learning principles

- Reliability and flexibility with casual scheduling requirements
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and wellbeing

- Experience in a childcare or playgroup setting is desirable.
