About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering protected, high-quality clinical care while supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical and person-centred nursing care.
- Administer medications and monitor residents' health and wellbeing.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and care plans.
- Support residents with nutrition, hydration, and overall health needs.
- Maintain best practice infection prevention and control standards.
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, GPs, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist with admissions, assessments, and ongoing clinical reviews.
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience working in an Australian Residential Aged Care facility (clinical placements are not considered).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Current National Police Check (within the last 12 months).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Evidence of current COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Current Influenza vaccination.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- 100 points of identification.
