About the role's- Centre Coordinator Role or Parent, and Child and Family Facilitator Role

We are seeking a Centre Coordinator Role or Parent, Child and Family Facilitator role to join our team on a part-time basis. Based in Warragamba NSW 2752, these roles are crucial to the delivery of our family support and education programmes. You will play a key role in coordinating centre operations, and or delivering parenting coaching services, and facilitating education and training initiatives that support families in our community.

These positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families whilst working within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the neighbourhood centre, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all visitors
- Deliver high-quality parenting coaching and support services to families, providing practical guidance on child development, positive parenting strategies and family wellbeing
- Develop, plan and deliver education and training programmes tailored to the needs of families in the community
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families, carers and community members,



fostering trust and engagement
- Assess family needs and connect individuals and families with appropriate services, resources and support networks
- Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to centre activities, participant engagement and programme outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure coordinated and comprehensive service delivery
- Promote the centre's programmes and services within the community through outreach, marketing and community engagement activities
- Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of centre programmes and services

What we're looking for 2x Staff to join our Team

- Qualifications in child welfare, family services, community development, education or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating expertise in these areas
- Experience delivering parenting support, coaching or education services to families with children
- Knowledge of child development, family dynamics and evidence-based parenting approaches
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse family groups
- Ability to plan, organise and deliver educational programmes and training sessions
- Demonstrated commitment to child safety and wellbeing, with knowledge of child protection principles and mandatory reporting obligations




- Experience coordinating community-based programmes or centre operations
- Proficiency with relevant administrative systems and a willingness to develop technological skills as needed
- A flexible, collaborative approach to working within a small team in a dynamic community setting
- A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- A Cleared National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)

Preferred experience would include training in specific parenting frameworks or evidence-based family support models, experience working with vulnerable or disadvantaged families, and involvement in community development initiatives.
