About New Aim

At New Aim, we're proud to be part of the first generation of pioneers in Australia's ecommerce industry. Since 2005, we've led the way in redefining how Australians shop and how businesses sell online.

As Australia's largest and fastest-growing private ecommerce company, we continue to set the benchmark for innovation. Our proprietary technology powers smart procurement, seamless supply chain management, multichannel integration, and intelligent pricing — helping businesses start, scale, and succeed in a digital world.

With over 8,200 active SKUs and a presence across 30 online channels, we partner with some of Australia's most-loved brands and marketplaces — including Bunnings, Myer, Woolworths, Big W, Amazon, eBay, and Kmart — relationships won one conversation, one business case and one set of trading terms at a time. From Dropshipzone, our leading B2B2C marketplace, to AirOxy, our AI-powered analytics engine, we are building the future of commerce — driven by technology, insight, and heart.

Join us in shaping the next chapter of Australian ecommerce — every day, every way, everywhere.

About the role

Everywhere is not a place we've arrived. It's a portfolio — and it's yours.

As Channel Development & Partnerships Manager, you own the commercial layer of our channel relationships — from first pitch through to signed and managed agreement — across an assigned portfolio of online marketplace and retail partners.

You're accountable for channel revenue growth, and you deliver it commercially: opening new channels, piloting new formats, negotiating new initiatives, and unlocking value with existing partners through joint planning and structured deal-making.

Once terms are set, our China-based Platform Performance team executes at scale.

Your job is to keep finding and creating the things worth executing.

What you'll own

- New format & market strategy — Evaluate and pilot emerging channel formats and geographies: social commerce, live commerce, B2B marketplaces, international market entry.
- New channel acquisition — End-to-end BD pipeline. Identify, evaluate, pitch, negotiate commercial terms, and onboard new marketplace and retail partners.
- Channel growth & commercial initiatives — Drive revenue across all active channels through category expansion, recent initiative adoption, discount structures, and exclusive deals — from major partners requiring formal joint business planning through to smaller channels where a direct negotiation unlocks the opportunity.
- Strategic partner management — Own the commercial relationship with our retail and marketplace partners: trading terms, discount structures, joint business planning, promotional deal negotiation.
- Promotional event negotiation — Negotiate event participation, slots, timing and themes against AU market trends, retail seasons and partner event cycles, then hand the agreed slot to Platform Performance and Marketing for SKU and pricing build-out.

What you'll bring

- A demonstrated track record in commercial business development, key account management or partnership management — ideally in e-commerce, retail, marketplace, FMCG or consumer products.

- Proven success negotiating commercial agreements with major retail or marketplace partners.
- Strong understanding of the Australian retail and marketplace landscape.
- Experience operating across multi-stakeholder, multi-channel environments.
- Commercial fluency — you can construct and defend a business case under partner scrutiny, and you're confident with margin, P&L; and ROI.
- The ability to turn channel-level data into commercial insight and a partner-facing narrative.
- Clear executive-level written communication (you'll be writing for our CEO, COO and ELT).

Bonus points for

- A history of finding and pursuing commercial opportunities yourself, rather than executing a plan someone else built.
- Direct experience with Australian marketplaces or retailers, on either the seller or the partner side.
- Joint Business Planning and/or annual trading term negotiation experience.

What You’ll Experience

- Impact-Driven Culture: The opportunity to influence a tech-driven local success story that is redefining the Australian e-commerce landscape.
- Corporate Benefits: Competitive remuneration packages, professional growth pathways, and exclusive staff discounts across our extensive product range.
- Diverse Professional Network: Work within a multicultural and cooperative environment that values diverse perspectives.

The Perks

- Free on-site parking
- Unlimited Freshly brewed coffee and fruits
- Generous employee discounts on over 7,000 products
- Company funded events, including end of quarter celebrations, the Biggest Morning Tea, Christmas event celebrations, etc.
- Internally funded team engagement activities such as team lunch, birthday celebrations, etc.
- Flexible working hours to avoid traffic
- Novated leasing
