Seeking a chef to join our seafood restaurant in beautiful Stanley on the NorthWest coast of Tasmania. Situated about 45 minutes from Burnie airport you will be a quick commute to the mainland and only an hour to Burnie and approximately two hours to Launceston.

This historic fishing village could be the sea change you are looking for, on an isthmus almost 7km out to sea, nestled at the foot of the Nut, a large volcanic plug with a cheeky name. Tourists and locals alike dine in Hursey Seafoods Restaurant, a true fleet to plate experience with a fleet of 9 fishing boats sourcing fresh wild-caught lobster, fish, abalone and scallops from the clean cold waters of Tasmania.

The restaurant has recently undergone a stylish remodel and the menu focuses on the wild caught produce the fleet will provide. We welcome you to utilise your creativity to add your own flair to the menu.

Chef position is full time and rental accommodation is available in a furnished chef share house, just a five minute walk from the restaurant.
