Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at AORA Educação is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring that organizational processes align with strategic goals. The COO will coordinate cross-functional activities, monitor performance metrics, and optimize workflows to support efficient delivery of educational services. This role includes developing and implementing operational plans, collaborating with leadership on business initiatives, and ensuring that policies and procedures are consistently applied.

The COO will also support financial planning, risk management, and resource allocation, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management and Business Planning to design, implement, and refine organizational processes.





Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, track key performance indicators, and support evidence-based decision making.

Sound knowledge of Finance and Budgeting to manage costs, support financial forecasting, and optimize resource allocation.

Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.

Experience in education, edtech, or mission-driven organizations is beneficial.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain clear documentation.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
