More specifically you will

- Be familiar working with students with diverse learning needs as outlined by the Disability Act, and follow the policies and procedures as outlined by Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD)

- Demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Catholic Education

- Assist students to access learning spaces and the opportunities to engage in activities across the school

- Build rapport with students and their parents/carers so as to better understand the implications of individual student needs within the college workplace

- Assist with providing the students with opportunities to develop personal, social and independent learning skills

- Support students as they transition into varying learning contexts including, inquiry learning spaces within the school, ensuring that appropriate learning adjustments are embedded

- Assist students to access on site and off-site activities

- Be willing to undertake ongoing professional learning and training in support of a student’s personalised plan
