We're partnering with a NSW Government department seeking Client Service Officers to join a high-performing team responsible for supporting privately appointed financial managers who oversee the financial affairs of people unable to manage their own finances due to disability, illness or age. The team plays an important role in ensuring financial management obligations are met while providing guidance and support to private managers.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in banking, finance, accounts or administration who enjoy combining analytical work with customer service and stakeholder engagement.
This role will involve
- Reviewing annual financial account information submitted by private financial managers for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all information related to generating an annual account is obtained, maintained and stored securely.
- Make and maintain regular contact with Private Managers to provide guidance and explain the requirements of annual accounts.
- Provide timely and accurate information to Private Managers to assist in the preparation of annual accounts.
- Actively listen to the concerns and enquiries of Private Managers, customers and stakeholders and work to resolve issues across the different business streams.
- Managing inbound phone and email enquiries while delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Following up outstanding documentation and liaising with internal teams to resolve enquiries.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring sensitive information is handled professionally and confidentially
The requirements for this role include:
- Experience in banking, finance, accounts, administration or customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with financial information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience supporting vulnerable people or working within government or community services will be highly regarded
Additional Information (if required):
- $40.80 per hour + Super
- 5-week contract with the possibility of extension
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (35-hour week)
- Parramatta office location
