2+ Years’ Australian Life Insurance Experience Essential

We are looking for an experienced Client Services Officer to join our specialist life insurance team.

This is not an entry-level role. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ direct experience in Australian life insurance administration, client services or adviser support.

About the role

Working closely with our advisers and support team, you will be responsible for:

Managing life insurance new business from application through underwriting to completion.

Supporting new and existing client review meetings.

Managing policy alterations and ongoing client servicing.

Liaising with clients, insurers, underwriters and medical providers.

Providing exceptional client service by phone and email.

Assisting clients with new and ongoing life insurance claims.

Maintaining accurate, compliant file notes and client records.

Managing tasks, workflows and follow-ups within Xplan.

Thinking ahead, solving problems and taking ownership of what needs to happen next.

About you

You will have

At least 2 years’ direct Australian life insurance administration or client services experience.

Strong knowledge of life insurance applications, underwriting, policy servicing and/or claims.

Excellent client service and communication skills, including confidence picking up the phone and speaking with clients.





Exceptional attention to detail.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

An understanding of Australian financial advice processes and compliance requirements.

The ability to follow processes and direction while also thinking independently.

A proactive approach – you see what needs to be done and action it.

The ability to work within a high-quality, high-performing team where actions matter.

Experience using Xplan is highly regarded.

Important

This role requires direct Australian life insurance experience.

Experience solely in general insurance, motor, home, commercial insurance or unrelated administration will not meet the requirements of this position.
