This is a meaningful opportunity to join Bankstown Older Person’s Mental Health as a Clinical Psychologist, where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering specialist assessment, intervention and support to older adults living with complex mental health needs. You Will

- Demonstrate confidence across assessment and evidence-based intervention, with the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality, consumer-focused care.




- Communicate with clarity, empathy and adaptability, tailoring your approach to consumers, families, colleagues and partner organisations.
- Enjoy contributing to service improvement, including quality initiatives, evaluation processes and clinical research.
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, valuing collaboration as a pathway to better outcomes for consumers and their support networks.

Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.
- Describe a clinical case involving an older person with complex mental health needs where you provided specialist psychological assessment and evidence based treatment.
- Provide an example of how you contributed to service improvement, quality activities or supervision within a mental health setting.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).

Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
