Commercial Housekeeper – Full Time

SPS Southwest is an established local cleaning and property services business specialising in luxury holiday accommodation and commercial properties throughout the Margaret River region.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Housekeeper to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

This is a hands-on, site-based role working across a range of luxury holiday homes and commercial properties. The position combines regular housekeeping and cleaning duties with responsibility for maintaining our high standards, supporting and supervising staff and assisting with the day-to-day coordination of our housekeeping operations.

Key responsibilities include

- Hands-on commercial housekeeping and cleaning across client properties
- Maintaining consistently high cleaning and presentation standards
- Supervising, supporting and training housekeeping staff
- Conducting property inspections and quality-control checks
- Implementing and maintaining cleaning procedures, policies and property-specific requirements
- Assisting with staff rostering, scheduling and daily workflow
- Coordinating linen, cleaning products, stock and guest supply requirements
- Identifying and reporting maintenance and property issues
- Communicating effectively with clients, staff, supervisors and management
- Supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the housekeeping team

About you:





We are looking for an experienced housekeeping or commercial cleaning professional with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards.

A strong background in the cleaning, housekeeping or accommodation industry is preferred. Previous experience supervising or managing staff, rostering, training team members and coordinating housekeeping operations will be highly regarded.

You will need to be reliable, organised and comfortable working independently as well as leading and working alongside a team.

This is not an office-based position. A significant part of the role involves working on site and undertaking hands-on cleaning and housekeeping duties.

Due to the nature of the holiday accommodation industry, applicants must be available to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays.

A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle are essential, as regular travel between properties throughout the Margaret River region is required.
