Role Overview:
The Communications Manager is responsible for driving brand awareness, community engagement, and earned media performance across social, influencer, PR, and brand partnership channels. This role owns communications and PR end-to-end, ensuring all activity is grounded in analytics, aligned to the broader marketing calendar, and executed with consistency across every touchpoint. The role works closely with the Head of Marketing on strategic direction and budget, and with both the Content and Marketing teams to deliver on-brand communications aligned to the marketing calendar.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Copy Writing & Communications Strategy
-Own copywriting across communications, PR, and partnership activity, ensuring tone of voice is consistent and on-brand.
-Own all BAU copywriting across owned and earned channels, ensuring content fits the brief and is delivered in a timely manner.
- Develop and own the overarching comms strategy for the marketing team, ensuring messaging is aligned across all channels and touchpoints.
-Work closely with the Content and Marketing teams to ensure communications activity is delivered on-brand and aligned to the marketing calendar. -Review and iterate comms strategy regularly based on performance data and market trends.
2. Community Management
-Oversee daily community management across all social platforms, ensuring timely and on-brand responses.
-Monitor brand sentiment and surface insights to inform content and campaign strategy.
-Foster authentic community engagement that builds brand loyalty and advocacy.
3. PR/Media Strategy & Management
-Manage PR and media relationships, ensuring consistent and positive brand representation across earned channels.
-Oversee the execution of PR campaigns and media outreach activity.
Set PR/media strategy that delivers against the marketing budget and agreed KPIs.
-Own and manage the PR budget, working closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure spend is planned, tracked, and delivers against agreed objectives.
-Track PR coverage and performance, reporting on reach, sentiment, and impact on brand objectives.
4. Influencer Strategy
-Develop the influencer marketing strategy, including tiering, channel selection, and campaign objectives.
-Identify and evaluate influencer partners that align with brand values and target audiences.
Set influencer strategy that delivers against the marketing budget and agreed KPIs.
-Own and manage the influencer budget, working closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure spend is planned, tracked, and delivers against agreed objectives.
-Set KPIs and measurement frameworks to assess influencer program effectiveness.
5. Influencer Management
-Manage end-to-end influencer relationships including briefing, contracting, content approval, and reporting.
-Manage influencer product send outs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with campaign activity.
-Ensure influencer activity is on-brand, compliant, and delivered on schedule.
-Monitor influencer performance weekly and adjust the program based on analytics.
6. Brand Partnerships Management
-Identify, develop, and manage brand partnership opportunities that extend reach and drive brand equity.
-Coordinate partnership activity across channels including social, events, and content.
-Track and report on partnership performance against agreed objectives.
7. Local Marketing & Events
-Manage local marketing initiatives and events through strategy alignment with the Head of marketing, that drive community connection and brand presence.
-Coordinate logistics and marketing activity around events, ensuring alignment with broader campaign calendars.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years in a communications, PR, social, or brand marketing role, experience owning budgets necessary
- Proven experience managing PR and media relationships, with a track record of securing earned media coverage
- Demonstrated experience building and running influencer programs, from strategy through to execution and reporting
- Experience managing budgets and reporting on ROI across PR, influencer, and partnership activity
- Background in fashion, retail, lifestyle, or consumer brands preferred
- Experience running community management across social platforms at scale
- Event coordination or local marketing experience is a plus
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent copywriter with a sharp ear for brand tone of voice
- Solid stakeholder management skills, comfortable working cross-functionally with Content, Marketing, and Retail teams
- Analytical mindset, comfortable using performance data to shape and iterate strategy
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple budgets, campaigns, and relationships at once
- A natural relationship builder, equally confident with journalists, influencers, and partners
- Self-starter who can move between strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Passion for the brand and a genuine interest in culture, media, and community
