We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Community Centre Support Officer to support the day-to-day operations of our community centres and facilities.

This is a part time (0.5 FTE) contract position until 30 June 2029 based at Kilburn Community Centre.

About the Role

This is more than an administration role. You'll be the welcoming face people see when they arrive, the helpful voice on the phone, and a key contributor to creating positive community experiences for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

- Play a key role in supporting vibrant community spaces where people connect, learn and thrive.
- Provide high-quality customer service and administrative support across community centre and facility bookings.
- Build strong relationships with community members, user groups and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Contribute to the delivery and promotion of programs and activities that create positive community outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating welcoming, inclusive experiences for the community.





- You have a genuine passion for customer service and delivering positive outcomes for community members.
- You're a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, including people with disability and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
- You bring a warm, friendly and approachable attitude, with a commitment to fostering connection and belonging.
- You're organised, adaptable and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
- Your able to work 4 hours per day 9:00am -1:00pm, Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to work additional hours to provide coverage during absences
- Your able to work across both PAE Community Centres located at Enfield and Kilburn.

This position is classified at a Level 2 with a current salary of $77,269 per annum (plus superannuation).
