About the Role

Kick-start your career in Conservation and Ecosystem Management while completing a Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management over a 2-year traineeship. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll assist with environmental restoration projects, weed and pest control, habitat improvement, and land management activities across the Central West region.

Duties

- Assist with bush regeneration and revegetation projects
- Control weeds and pest species across work sites
- Plant and maintain native vegetation
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment
- Monitor and report on environmental outcomes

Skills and Experience

- Hold a current Driver Licence and reliable transport
- Demonstrate an interest in environmental conservation
- Work effectively in a team and outdoors
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children’s Check
